There's a wedding on the cards later this year on Coronation Street. Want to know who's getting married?
Are you sure?
Well, if you really want to know, keep scrolling down.
This week's fab Inside Soap magazine have a little interview with Julia Goulding, who plays Shona Ramsey in Corrie. Julia has recently announced she's pregnant with her first child and will be going off on maternity leave from the soap later this year.
She tells Inside Soap: "I am allowed to say that David and Shona will be getting married. I might push for a double-barrelled surname and not be a complete Platt!"
Speaking of her pregnancy she says "We'll hide it (Julia's baby bump) behind the bar of the Rovers. Luckily, Shona wears baggy clothes."
Find out who else will be leaving, joining, returning to the show or taking a break.

Since when did Shona work behind the Rovers' bar?
ReplyDeleteSince when does Shona wear baggy clothes? She wears skin tight torn jeans.
ReplyDeleteWith baggy jumpers!

ReplyDeleteSince the girl who plays her became pregnant
DeleteHope she has a very long maternity leave.
ReplyDeleteI love Shona, she is a good actress and glad she is getting married on screen.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the pregnancy too. Hurry back!
I hope Corrie doesn't involve Clayton in Shona's exit storyline. I can just imagine Clayton getting attacked in prison and Shona decides to leave for a few months to take care of him.
ReplyDeleteAww, they're a nice couple. Minus one murdering son, covering up Nick's theft, and all the usual stuff normal people don't dream of doing. Like hiding a body under the floorboards. One of my fave couples though. And congrats to Julia Goulding.
ReplyDeleteJulia Goulding isn't a bad actress but I feel she's miscast as David's partner. She looks like she could be his mother! Also, would David really marry the mother of the man who murdered his wife? Just not realistic at all, like so much of Corrie at the moment.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more Freysimo, couldn't agree more! I've always thought exactly the same.
