ITV Job Vacancy: Marketing Executive - Drama, Soaps & ITV3

We’re looking for someone who is excited about the challenge of marketing some of our biggest programmes to mainstream audiences in today’s fragmented, always-on, always-changing media environment. As a Marketing Executive working on Drama, Soaps & ITV3 you will play a key role in ITV’s connection with mainstream audiences across this genre mix. Working on some of the UK’s best dramas, the two biggest soaps and one of the largest digital channels.

You will support the Marketing Manager & Controller of Marketing on day-to-day running of promotional activity for these programmes and channels and you will contribute to the development of a marketing plan that is brand building and ensures audience growth. You will lead the process on key projects from planning & briefing, to development of ideas with ITV Creative or external agencies, to Media Planning, through to delivery of the campaign across all audience touch points. In addition, you will take a lead role in developing and executing the social strategy on brand and programme feeds across relevant social networks.

To be a successful Marketing Executive within the team, you’ll need to be passionate, open minded and interested across all the genres you’ll be working across. You’ll need to have experience of managing all aspects of large, complex marketing projects including strategy development, designing processes, delivering content and executing social media campaigns.

Key requirements include:

  • Broadcast marketing experience with high profile brands.
  • Campaign management experience and knowledge of production of TV and digital media campaigns.
  • Experience of off-air media buying and production (Outdoor, Press, Radio, Digital) 
  • A digital enthusiast with experience of successful social media campaigns and an appetite to lead and learn in this area.
  • High levels of organisation, with strong planning skills and the ability to prioritise a large workload according to ever changing business needs.
  • Both a keen interest and expert knowledge of sport generally
