Coronation Street Episode Review; Weds 17th April 8.30pm

As promised, here is part two of this Wednesday's Corrie, all wrapped up in a handy blog review.

Racing out of Vicky's house, Gary manages to flee the scene and escape the butch debt collectors clutches. But can he escape Rick? Gary leaves a panicked voicemail for Sarah.

At the caravan, Gemma and Chesney's holiday continues to be miserable. As the rain pours on the tin roof, they decide to go for a drive out and a pint.

At the bistro, Robert takes an unknown call and makes a swift exit.  Later on, and explaining his absence to Michelle, he does seem to be acting unduly suspicious.

Sore from Kevin's refusal to re-employ her, Abi ridicules Kev's workshy attitude to a defensive Sally.
Meanwhile, Kev is busy playing table football at Trim Up North and then bumps into Abi at the pub. He promises her that he will keep an eye out for any mechanic jobs. Later that day, Kevin has managed to sort out a job for Abi from an old pal down Weatherfield Road East.

At the barbers, Nick tells David of Toyah's sabotage theory. With the police now looking at the factory accounts, Nick panics about stealing Audrey's money and plans to tell the police of his dubious £30K transfer. Has Nick deceived the detectives? He may think so, but David isn't so sure.

Chesney's car troubles continue and Gemma and Joseph are stranded in a desolate field. Back at the caravan, with Chesney still away, Gemma teaches Joseph how to play poker and gambling- not inappropriate, at all. Chesney is obviously disgusted at Gemma fleecing his son and the disastrous holiday looks set to finish early.

Gary's suddenly unable to contact Sarah and starts to panic, not before deciding to head over to Rick's office. Back home, Bethany tells Sarah that they have to flee the house immediately.

At the office, Gary's anger overcomes him but Rick's level of violence knows no bounds. As Rick continues to add compound interest to Gary's debt, he also gives his a pounding - for good measure.

Battered, bruised, and at rock bottom; he may have rescued Alex's passport-but is it time for Gary to come clean to Sarah?.
