Reports in today are that robbers struck the crew of Coronation Street while they were filming in Bolton.
Corrie was filming a shooting scene involving Steve McDonald this week when it happened. The Sun reports it was armed raiders too.
An ITV spokesperson confirmed: "We can confirm a small domestic generator was stolen during a low level opportunistic theft from the unit base of filming today for Coronation Street whilst the crew were on location in Bolton. The programme's cast and crew weren't at the unit base at the time. The incident was reported to the police and filming wasn't affected."
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police added to The Sun that they were called to Bolton Rugby Club after receiving reports of an alleged armed robbery at around midday on Thursday.
