As promised, here is part two of this Wednesday's Corrie, all wrapped up in a handy blog review.
The hen party heads over to the Rovers and Lolly introduces the gang to shots and a group selfie.
A reluctant Michelle also engages with the celebration whilst Ryan tells Ali that their mum has left Robert.
Meanwhile, Zeedan phones to congratulate Rana and tells her that he has a new girlfriend. Rana looks surprisingly upset at the news.
Grabbing Rana, Kate takes her off to the girls loos, where they slag off Lolly's hen night efforts. Unbeknown to the brides-to-be, Lolly is in a cubicle and overhears. The now trademarked lolly 'look' makes a promising reappearance.
Angered by Manchester's metropolitan skyline and lack of Weatherfield building work, Gary holds onto the hope of a full job coming through on Underworld's roof. Hopefully, this will also help rebuild his relationship with Sarah.
Trim Up North's newest employee Natalie gets a grilling from David and Nick. Discretion does appear to her strong point but unfortunately for Nick, so does blackmail.
Evelyn is on valet duty for a late pick-up and finds a pair of knickers in Mr Brennan's car (it's not Don).
Returning to his car, Mr Brennan fancies a free valet, but Evelyn flashes the frilly pants, and the father-to-be suddenly changes his mind! Kevin is impressed by Evelyn's customer service.
Returning her ring to Robert, Michelle hopes they can stay friends but Robert drowns his sorrows and is angered at the sudden split. Hell hath no fury etc., and Robert really is riled by Carla's meddling.
Gatecrashing the party, a drunk Robert spreads the news of the split and Lolly admits that she overheard every word of Kana's roasting.
In the loos, and revealing her vulnerable side, Lolly makes a drunken pass at Rana!
Out on the street, Robert clashes with Carla and tells her to watch her back. Is this a veiled threat or just the wine talking?
Anyway, that's all for this Wednesday. Your thoughts on this mid-week double?

I only caught a little bit of last night's episode. Maybe I missed something important or maybe I'm just forgetting something, but Robert gave Michelle the keys to the Bistro as if to say it belonged to her...
ReplyDeleteIt left me confused. Wasn't Michelle just filling in as manager for Leanne while she was on maternity leave? Like I say maybe I've missed something somewhere.
