Was it really seven years ago when the Aliette phenomenon was at is peak? Well, it seems so. We put a call out for fans of Alison Kings (the Aliettes) to let us know what made Carla Connor and Alison King so special to them. You can read their replies here.
And now we'd like to hear from fans of Kate and Rana (#Kana). What is it about these two characters that makes them so special to you? What is it about their relationship that keeps you hooked? And how do you feel about the fact that Bhavna Limbachia, who plays Rana, has announced that she's leaving the show? And, dare I ask it.. but what do you think of Lolly, too?
If you'd like to write a few words to be included on our blog post about #Kana fans, I'd love to hear from you. We'll credit you of course with a link to your Twitter or website, or whatever you'd like. Just email me at glenda.sunderland@gmail.com with #Kana in your subject line. We'll pick the best responses and include them in a blog post. Thank you in advance!

Don't enjoy the story line or either character...never have. Looking forward to it being over.
ReplyDeleteNot a Kana fan, either. Their relationship is paper thin and based on little more than ‘I think you’re pretty’. However, Rana is an interesting character, or at least one with potential. I wish it were pointless, spoiled, immature, self centered Kate who was leaving. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteCan't stand these 2, and like abbyk, I wish it were Kate who was leaving. As for Lolly, why would I be interested in her when I already see Kate and Rana as pointless?
ReplyDeleteUsed to like Rana, but she’s been ruined as a character since being paired with the tedious Kate.
ReplyDeleteI liked the storyline of Rana falling for Kate and coming to terms with her sexuality. The couple had potential, and Rana could have been the making of Kate, but they've been plagued with endless misery since then, much of which has been Kate's own selfish fault and has caused Rana more grief than Kate! In this relationship Kate is selfish and only thinks of her own wants, yet SOMEHOW it's always Rana that's apologising!
