You know when Coronation Street has got the nation talking when a storyline makes its way from the tabloids to the posh papers.
And it's done it again this week.
The Guardian no less, are reporting on Tracy - who they keep calling her Barlow in the article, but she is of course a McDonald now. Although to fans young and old she'll always be Tracy Barlow, just as Jenny Connor will also be Jenny Bradley too.
Anyway, the reason The Guardian have weighed in on Corrie this time is over Tracy's insult to Steve this week when she called him a 'minge-bag'. It passed me by completely as the insult means nothing to me, it's not something we use up here in the north-east. But it seems the term is typical of a north-south divide in the UK.
