The young actor playing Tyler Jeffries is Will Barnett (born 1999 in Warrington). Coronation Street is his only onscreen credit to date.

He has been a member of the National Youth Theatre since 2016, and began acting when he was fourteen. He first appeared in Our Country's Good at Sir John Deane's Sixth Form College in Cheshire, before being cast in the National Youth Theatre's production Zigger Zagger.
Will said: "My experience so far at Corrie has been amazing and everyone there is so lovely, I feel as though I've fit right into the family."
