Norris Cole returning to Corrie next year - says The Mirror

A few weeks ago, Coronation Street's Patti Clare, who plays Mary Taylor, said on live TV that Norris was returning from Peru "... allegedly" she added in an interview.

Well, there's more news today in the tabloid press to suggest that Norris may very well be back on his way to Weatherfield very soon indeed.

The Mirror reports today from Mr Curry Sauce who says that actor Malcolm Hebden visited Corrie’s ITV studios in Manchester two weeks ago to discuss a gradual return next year.

The Mirror quotes an unnamed Corrie cast member as saying: “I was so pleasantly surprised to see him. It has been a long battle back to fitness but he looks better than I could have imagined. He looks really well, it is going to be great to have him back. The show has missed him. We’ve missed him.”

Let's hope he'll be back on the show soon.  Malcolm Hebden, who plays Norris, is currently away taking an extended leave of absence from the show for this reason.

Find out who else is returning, leaving, joining or taking a break from the show.

  4. But if he's coming back, why did he sell the Kabin?

  5. I thought Rita gave Doris the cabin years ago. And didn't Rita give the cabin to Jenny a while back? She ended up selling it and leaving the show , no? Why is she so cherished now without any mention of her betrayal?
