Tabloid reports this week suggest that Coronation Street has signed up Hollywood actor Adam Fogerty to play a prison officer.
Adam has starred with Tom Hardy in Krays biopic Legend and with Brad Pitt in Snatch. And he’s also had roles in box office hits including Mean Machine, Stardust and Little Voice.
Mr Curry Sauce tells The Star: “Corrie’s producers are thrilled to have such an experienced actor joining the team. He has the perfect back catalogue to play a prison officer. Adam has fitted in already. And because characters are always in and out of prison, it’s likely we’ll be seeing a fair amount of him on the show.”
It won’t be the first time Adam has appeared on Corrie. He's been in it three times before, reports Corriepedia.
