Christmas storyline revealed for Jenny Connor

The wonderful Inside Soap Yearbook 2019 is now out in the shops.  There's a great review of the year in all of the soaps and some interviews with soap favourites too.

And in the back of the magazine which reveals some Christmas and New Year spoilers, it seems as if there's a shock in store for Jenny this Christmas.

Jenny's first Christmas behind the bar at the Rovers Return takes a turn for the worse when she collapses.  Johnny and Gemma will find her at the foot of the stairs in the pub, but has she collapsed or fallen down the stairs?

"We're going to have a Chrstimassy Christmas this year," says Coronation Street's new producer Iain MacLeod. "There will be some big heartbreaking stories within that, a huge shock at the end and hopefully a surprising pay-off.  When you sit down to digest your stuffing balls and sprouts, you need it to be warm and light-hearted in places. It's going to reek of Christmas!"

  1. I think Jenny will be diagnosed with Narcolepsy (where you can fall asleep at any time of day) which explains why she is collapsed at the bottom of the stairs in pictures we have seen leading up to Christmas. I also believe that her diagnosis will lead to her nodding off at the wheel of her car - allowing her to accidentally run Liz McDonald over. However, she will eventually be exonerated for the crime when her diagnosis is exposed.
