Freelance 3rd Assistant Directors - Coronation Street

We are always looking for additional freelance 3rd ADs to work as a key member of the Assistant Director team. Our 3rd ADs help ensure the smooth running of the shoot by providing an efficient and effective support system to 1st Assistant Director at all times

Our 3rd ADs are the main support keeping our 1st AD informed on shoots through the 2nd AD of any changes or problems during the day, you will accurately and promptly interpret instructions from the 1st AD which may include organising cast and supporting artists and vehicles in action and relay cues to artistes and crew.

Supporting the 1st AD, you monitor artistes’ whereabouts when they are not on set, liaising with runners to ensure they arrive for call time promptly, coordinate and direct the supporting artistes and vehicles, involving continuity of background action during shoot. You must have the ability to deal professionally with people from all levels of ITV, members of the public, guests or VIPS.

You must have a flexible approach to work and working hours, able to work in a fast paced pressurised work environment. Due to the nature of Production occasional weekends and bank holiday working may be required, you must be contactable outside of working hours and absolute confidentiality is essential. Previous Drama 3rd AD experience on a multi camera production is desirable.
