The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and Tyler’s mum Vicky arrives. She’ll be played by Northern Irish actress Kerri Quinn and you can read more on her here.
She turns up in Weatherfield after Tyler and his mates steal Simon’s bag and rip up his homework. Peter seeks out and confronts Tyler’s mum Vicky who makes it clear she blames Simon for her son being in prison.
But Peter’s got more problems than Tyler on his hands. He’s furious when Carla gives Vicky a job at the factory. Peter tells Vicky she can keep her job but she needs to tell Tyler to call off his mates. But he starts plotting to get away from working with Carla and looks into to buying the old snooker hall on Victoria Street.
