This just in from ITV Jobs. Coronation Street have a job vacancy for an Assistant Script Editor to support our Writers, Script Editors and Production Team in ensuring that all of Coronation Street's scripts meet the highest standard, both editorially and in production terms.
As our Assistant Script Editor, you will work across the entire editorial process attending story conferences and script meetings. You will work closely with our current team of Script Editors, Script Producer, Assistant Producer and Producer in ensuring continuity within all storylines and scripts.
When required, you will provide cover for our Script Editors, so some script editing experience will be required for this role, although we will provide further training if necessary.
Excellent administrative and organisational skills are required. A detailed knowledge of Coronation Street is essential.
