Coronation Street Spoiler: Jim McDonald returns

The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and Big Jim is back in Weatherfield.

Steve’s mates throw him a surprise stag do in the Rovers. He’s soon handcuffed to the bar but that’s not the only shock in store when Steve’s dad Jim McDonald walks into the pub!

Telling Jim he wants nothing to do with him, Steve storms out.

As Peter lunges at him (remember that Jim poisoned him with alcohol in prison) Jim begs for a chance to explain himself. Liz brings Jim up to speed on Steve and Michelle’s split and his relationship with Tracy and she agrees to talk to Steve for him.

    1. Noooo Big Jim.

Already rowing and scrapping I see. Same old merry go round of boring Jim McDonald repetitiveness

  2. Peter is clearly just fine next week after being shot this week, then - I predicted it would be an airgun or something similar, rather than anything really serious.

  3. I'm really looking forward to Jim's return. It's been a long time coming.

Anon 11:25, you say "same old merry go round of Jim McDonald repetitiveness" but be honest, you can say the same about any returning character (case in point, Carla Connor - she is repetitiveness personified!).

    1. I say again no. Are you condoning Jim's violence? He talks with his fists. He punches first then thinks second. He is a violent bully. Other than aggression, what is there? How can you want him back? You've seen the spoilers for his return. What's new in that? Def should've gone to live with Andy

  4. I don’t like Jim due to his overall violent and abusive personality coupled with the battering of his wife Liz. For these reasons I wish he would not be brought back.
