BETHANY’S DATE ENDS IN DISASTER Bethany is enjoying a romantic meal at with Ryan who has got the flat to himself. They kiss passionately and Bethany freaks out as he tries to go further. Panic stricken she runs out of the door just as Sarah rounds the corner to see Ryan watching her looking totally bewildered.
ROBERT AND MICHELLE FACE A COLD FRONT Alone in the bistro and desperate to have some private time Robert suggests to Michelle that they should have some fun in the freezer. Neither see Ryan sneak in, to steal some steaks for his romantic dinner with Bethany, and accidently nudge the door shut, leaving them locked in.
DAVID’S SPONTANEITY SHOCKS SHONA David starts his community service at Jamila house when Bily drops in to see him the other offenders are less than impressed he is friends with a vicar. David calls in the cafe and stuns Shona by getting down on one knee and proposing.
ECCLES PAYS THE PRICE FOR SIMON’S TESTIMONY Toyah find Eccles seriously ill in the backyard of number 1. Returning from the vets Ken says Eccles ate a sausage sandwich laced with slug pellets but will recover.
ELSEWHERE Sophie blames herself for Jack’s illness as kevin keeps a vigil. Ken says he will pay for Tracy’s wedding if she has a double wedding with Daniel. Beth asks Kirk to do some digging on Alya for Carla.

SARAH MAKES A DANGEROUS MISTAKE Sarah goes into Ryan’s flat demanding answers but when he says Bethany is a tease she sees red and shoves him before storming out. Ryan stumbles and hits his head before collapsing. At Craig’s flat Bethany is upset telling Craig she had a panic attack when Ryan kissed her. When Bethany tells Sarah that Ryan did nothing wrong Sarah realises she overreacted in the way she treated Ryan.
RYAN CAUSES MICHELLE MORE HEARTACHE Daniel and Kate arrive in the Bistro to hear Robert and Michelle banging on the freezer door. The shivering couple return home to find an unconscious Ryan on the flat floor and call an ambulance.
SHONA WON’T GIVE DAVID AN ANSWER David is upset when Shona won’t give him an answer. She tells him the time isn’t right until he is stronger.
IT’S TOUCH AND GO FOR JACK Ali tells Kevin that Jack is not responding to the antibiotics as well as they had hoped. Kevin fights back the tears feeling helpless.
ELSEWHERE Simon realises Tyler poisoned Eccles. Toyah suggests Ken take Simon to a cottage in Cornwall her friend owns to get him away from Weatherfield and Tyler until the court case.
