Conversation Street Podcast Episode 316

On our latest podcast, we pick apart the episodes of Coronation Street broadcast between the 2nd and the 6th July.

If you're living in the UK at the moment, you'll know we've got a bit of heatwave going on right now. Whilst some people like to stay cool with icy drinks, lollies and switching up the air con, for Robert and Michelle it means getting freaky in the freezer - what could possibly go wrong? Meanwhile, Billy's shocked to hear David making homophobic remarks during his community service, Tyler gets revenge on Simon, and - sound the issues-based story klaxon! - Jack's rushed to hospital when he develops sepsis.

Next up, we have a classic character profile, and after the hilarious scenes on Monday where Steve's searching through his old engagement rings, we thought we'd take a look back where it all began, and run down the story of his first wife, Vicky. That's followed by an update on Malcolm Hebden in The Kabin, and we finish off the episode with some listener feedback on subjects including angry Johnny, loose plot threads and the number of characters falling down the stairs recently.
