Mikey North takes two month break from Coronation Street

Mikey North, who play Gary Windass in Coronation Street, is taking a two-month break from the show.

In an interview with What's On TV Magazine, Mikey says:  “I’ve got about two months off now. I’m going to go away and de-Windass for a bit, and then come back and see what’s next.”

See who else is leaving, joining, taking a break from or returning to Coronation Street!

  1. I wonder if he'll decide to join Nicola to 'settle her in'.

  2. Not a bad thing, it will give the character a much needed break

  4. Good riddance.... don't come back! I've nothing against the actor --- just that I'm tired of this character making bad decisions over and over again. We're running out of bad mistakes for Gary Windass to make...

  5. Simon's storyline is getting very boring. I realise he's a teenager but he is such a nasty one. Not all teens are bad.

  6. Not looking forward to the return of Jim McDonald. Such a boring character. Are Corrie producers and writers running out of ideas for new story lines?
