Corrie Comicals week ending Friday 1 June 2018

With a common airtime of 9pm the "Britain's Got Talent" week of Corrie episodes are all "post-watershed" in the UK - an agreed time after which broadcasters are allowed a greater latitude on matters of sex, violence and bad language - which tends to mean that there is simply less room for the Comicals.

But to get us started Tracy did not spend the night on the tiles but on the sofa at Adam and Daniel's flat - she was taken in by Flora who had the light on and Tracy had lost her keys!

Which leads to Steve later asking Tracy about where she spent the night - unusually she completely fails in her wind up attempt and he stomps away to the gents leaving her with a pretty upset look on her face as it seems that Michelle is a greater concern to him than her sleeping arrangements.

Having struggled through Tuesday (which was pretty intense) and knowing all we know it takes a brave man to say that to Pat Phelan.  So a special mention to Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes) - just remember Jack, Pat knows where you live.

Come Wednesday the best diversion from the high drama came from Flora who was able to answer a mobile phone (I struggle to answer mine) and tell a huge whopper about having died so was able to stay out of the "old folks home" [does anyone actually call them that any longer?].  So she will be with Daniel a little longer.

Also a word about Pat's head.  I have lost count of the number of times he has been battered around the bonce bone and it took another battering tonight.  He is very lucky not to have suffered some real mental problems as a result.  You can see the latest damage above!

Come Thursday there is little to laugh about - but pardon me whilst I admonish our style queen Carla for wearing those boots - ideal for the cobbles luv, hardly suitable for wedding wear!

And talking of villains on the Street Pat has been replaced by two returning faces, obviously working hand in glove:

As Lewis says that really is splendid news.

Monday and Tuesday were written by Debbie Oates, Wednesday was written by Cameron McAllister, Thursday and Friday were written by Owen Lloyd Fox, director all week Audrey Cooke.

I will be very late next week.

  1. Think Carla's feet attire was for pre wedding comfort purposes only. You can see in her hand the Carla killer heels as she's telling Daniel off
