Coronation Street Spoiler: Guess who starts work at Underworld?

The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and there’s a new member of staff at Underworld when Sarah gets a job there. Yes, Sarah Platt, barmaid of the parish, will take up a new role at the knicker factory as Alya’s PA.

When Alya wonders if she’s bitten off more than she can chew at the factory Sarah is given food for thought. Handing her CV to Alya, she suggests she makes a perfect PA.

When Alya introduces Sarah as her new PA, the girls are quick to point out the job should be advertised so they can apply. Alya hatches a plan and spends the afternoon treating Sarah like a slave. Will it have the desired effect?

  1. So let's get this straight: Gary's current lover, Sarah, goes to work with Gary's ex lover, Alya. Sarah is also good friends with Gary's first baby mama, Izzy, and his second one-night-stand baby mama, Nicola. Yikes! Gary is quite a player. ;-) ha ha

  2. There’s also a vacancy for a PA at the solicitors. Wonder who will jump into that job with no qualifications or experience.

    1. Let’s not forget Sarah does experience of doing this sort of work in the garment industry - she worked for years for her Uncle Stephen in Milan. Frankly, a job at Underworld is far more appropriate for her than pulling pints.

  3. jeanie (anon): Tweedledum and Tweedledummer. At least they both have great hair though; that has to count for something.

  4. I feel sorry for Izzy in all of this as she'll have both her ex boyfriend's ex fiancee [who lorded it over her once before when she was P.A.] and his curreny fiancee as her bosses!
    This won't end well/
