Ohhhh...I like the storyline of Kirk and the dog walking/hide the fact that the woman you're working for is fit and not ancient!! Should make for some great comedy if the producers allow it to happen.
Interesting storyline for Aiden Conner. You wouldn't think that after finding out that you're a father you'd want to off yourself. I do think it's great that Corrie has become a champion of causes with their awareness and hotlines. Very commendable, and woven into the fabric of the show with just a few snags and snarls.
Loving the pairing of Yasmeen and Geoff. Really couldn't stand her in the beginning but now that Sharif is gone, she's blossomed.
Looking forward to a Phelan free zone after the jarring winter months and storylines.

  2. The Aiden storyline is surprising and sad. Now that I think of it, his character has been somewhat deflated these past few months. I assumed it was the difficulty of getting over Eva's betrayal and Adam's machinations that caused the factory to go under (and yes, I know he first betrayed Eva with Maria and that was awful too). Then the stress of giving a life-saving organ to someone...I think he should have been offered counseling afterwards, as that is a big shock to your system. The Eva baby storyline...I constantly shake my head over that. Peter must be completely out of it if he hasn't cottoned on to the fact that there is something suspicious there. He hasn't seen or spoken to the surrogate lately, and Toyah keeps coming up with the thinnest of excuses. Mary lies for her son June, instead of encouraging him to be open with his wife, as difficult as it may be. Corrie characters always choose the most complicated paths to follow, and they never seem to learn and they always seem to choose lying over telling the truth. Well now there wouldn't be much of a show if they stopped doing that, so I suppose I shouldn't complain!
