There's a new map of Weatherfield and it's on display inside Underworld in the office.
It's been drawn by Dave Draws and hes's on Twitter here: https://twitter.com/DaveDraws_
Pretty chuffed that they now have a doodle map of Weatherfield on the @itvcorrie set! Doodled this earlier this year but had to keep quiet until now! You should be able to see it in the background quite often over the next few weeks! #coronationstreet pic.twitter.com/XCVp9QZH76— Dave Draws (@DaveDraws_) March 29, 2018
I'm hoping that the maps might be on sale to fans soon, we'll keep you updated.

Beautifully done - but I do find it odd that they're displaying it as, thanks to the new set extension and tram line, it's out of date.
ReplyDeleteAnd it clearly shows that Rosamund street is not cut off directly behind Coronation street, as it is now with a parade of old dissused shops! You should be able to turn the corner at the Rovers and walk up along Rosamund street, it’s where the Kabin and Jim’s cafe were. Hate the layout that was set down when the set moved. If they wanted to shut off that thouroughfare for technical or practical purposes that’s fair enough but why just let some old premises spring up from nowhere. They could have easily had a building site there adding new buildings or whatever to explain away the radical difference in geography. But no-one really seems to care...
ReplyDeleteThe brewery behind Street Cars is incorrectly labelled; it should read Nutall’s Brewery, not Newton & Ridley.
ReplyDeleteHow could the artist forget Nick's Bistro???? OMG!

ReplyDeleteIt's lovely but isn't the Red Rec on the other side of the Viaduct? I've seen a couple of older maps and it was.Still I'm glad this clears up that the next street perpendicular to Victoria is Trafalgar since we were wondering about that a couple of weeks ago.
