The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and Eileen’s suspicions mount against Phelan.
She’s unnerved when she receives a call from Anna begging her to visit again in prison. But then Tim and Gary reveal that Anna’s court case may be postponed as Seb’s done a runner. Faye’s worried sick about him, as is Eileen who’s overheard this piece of news.
As Eileen sets off in her car, Phelan watches his and his suspicions are aroused. At the prison Eileen struggles to hide her unease as Anna quizzes her about Seb. Anna warns Eileen to watch her back as Phelan will turn on her one day. Then Eileen pays Alya a visit and quizzes her about Luke’s relationship with Phelan.
But when Anna’s trial begins, Phelan is called as the first witness. Lying through his teeth Phelan paints Anna to be the villain, making out she pushed Seb off his ladder. Anna looks at him with pure hatred. Seb’s next up in the witness box, will he go against Phelan?
Seb’s scared witless and reveals to Gary that Phelan killed Luke and he’s worried he could be next. Eileen’s suspicions are reignited as the police take Phelan in for questioning.
