Coronation Street producer Kate Oates has teased an intense Christmas in Weatherfield, with a huge storyline for Peter Barlow.
As we know, Carla Connor is returning to the show and I wonder if her return will put Peter off his sprouts or will it light up his turkey?
Speaking to The Sun Online at the Inside Soap Awards earlier this week, Kate Oates revealed there will be huge drama on the cobbles over the festive season.
She said: “We’ve got a bit of a Peter Barlow extravaganza - that will be exciting. We’ve got a certain Connor returning and I believe you can guess who I’m talking about. It’s going to be a really intense Christmas where the ghosts of Billy’s past come back to haunt him and some nice intense stuff for the Barlows so yeah it’s going to be exciting.”

ReplyDeleteI've heard Carla is coming back with a surprise. I wonder if it could be Peter Barlow's baby? That would throw a wrench in Toyah's happy little family.
ReplyDeleteGuess it could be Robert's which would explain how Carla and Michelle will be on opposing sides. Isn't Steve and Tracy bad enough; Peter and Carla would just make matters worse!

ReplyDeleteWhere'd the idea of a baby come from? Carla is returning but can't see her kicking that can of worms again. Her return has more to do with Michelle and Robert etc...no love lost between her and Leanne (who will always have atie to Peter via Simon and Toyah)..
It would seem like the truth of who caused his sisters accident is one scenario..but really? gotta be something bigger than that.
Maybe he'll be out having a ciggy in the back and overhear Phelan trying to murder Eileen...maybe he'll become a Weatherfield hero and bump Phelan off.
