Whilst Mary fusses over baby George, Jude scans the paper for suitable houses and Angie does her best to mask her anxiety. As Angie struggles to fasten George's buttons, Jude and Mary remain oblivious to her suffering.
Chesney arrives for work at the kebab shop but it's clear he's not well. Daniel and Sinead enjoy each other's company and it's clear they still have feelings for one another. However when Sinead takes a call telling her Chesney's collapsed, she hurries out leaving Daniel perplexed.
Toyah and Peter are thrilled when they get a call from surrogate Jackie confirming she's pregnant
Amy and Simon are shocked to find Summer unconscious in the ginnel. When Simon spies the half-smoked cigarette he's seriously worried. In the hospital, Todd and Billy bury the hatchet, both just desperate for Summer to pull through.
A grieving Summer seeks to numb the pain. Chesney pushes himself beyond his limit. Phelan outlines his plan for Andy’s replacement. Simon’s confession creates conflict between Peter and Billy. Sinead blames herself for Chesney’s situation. Liz looks after number one.
