The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street!
Mary throws a dinner party next week for Dev, Jude, Angie, Peter and Toyah. Convinced that her daughter in law Angie’s an alcoholic, Mary encourages Peter to share some of his horror stories of alcoholism. The guests are completely bemused.
But then Mary’s thrilled when Jude asks her to babysit while he attends an interview. Angie meets up with Toyah for lunch and admits that she feels a failure as a mother and spends a lot of time crying. Toyah reckons she’s suffering from post-natal depression and she should seek help.
When baby George becomes unwell, Mary hotfoots it to the bistro to find Angie. Grabbing her car keys, Angie insists she’ll drive him to A&E. Convinced Angie has an alcohol problem, Mary calls the police and reports her for drink driving and endangering her son’s life.
