Coronation Street secrets from Inside Soap photoshoot
I've just returned from a wonderful holiday in Spain and now it's time for a massive Corrie catch up with nine episodes to watch on TV - and the glorious Inside Soap magazine to read. In the edition of the magazine that's in the shops now, there's a wonderful photoshoot with some of the Corrie cast as they go head to head with the other soaps for your votes in the Inside Soap awards 2017.
The photoshoot is fantastic and is well worth reading and seeing the pics for. There are mini-interviews with Rob Mallard (Daniel Osbourne) who tells us what it's like to be so instantly recognised on the street now he's part of our favourite show. He talks about his highlight of his first year and that he'd love to work with the Platts more on the show. He reveals that he's got some scenes coming up with Phelan too... could be worth watching! Daniel is nominated as Best Newcomer in the Inside Soap Awards.
Julia Goulding (Shona) is also interviewed and says that it won't be a smooth ride for David and Shona in the coming weeks. She's also up for Best Newcomer in the awards.
Simon Gregson (Steve) says he's "head over heels in love" with Pat Phelan and he loves doing scenes with Sue Nicholls (Audrey) as "she's completely bonkers!" Simon is up for Best Actor, Best Show Stopper and Best Shock Twist awards.
Dolly-Rose Campbell (Gemma) says that there's going to be some fun coming back into Gemma's life with more crazy outfits. And Matilda Freeman (Summer) says that the spat between Summer and Amy Barlow is far from over!
And the gorgeous Mikey North (Gary Windass) who is up for Sexiest Male and gets my vote, says that while Nicola will become pregnant with Gary's baby, what we don't know yet is whether Nicola keeps the baby and that's going to pit Gary against Phelan again.
Vote for all our Corrie favourites in the Inside Soap Awards here.
