Phelan’s behaviour in next week’s Coronation Street is going to turn even more bizarre. Remember his black eye a few weeks ago, that went unexplained? Well, next week we’ll see him walking about with a gash on his head. Just what is our favourite villain hiding?
Nicola’s concerned for her dad and intrigued by Phelan’s behaviour she follows him. Phelan makes out he’s working on a house conversion and is disposing of an old mattress. As Eileen and Nicola fuss over Phelan’s head injury, Nicola suggests he could donate the mattress to a homeless shelter.
But later at home a stressed Phelan takes his anger out on Nicola who’s shocked by his outburst.
