Coronation Street: Pat Phelan Spoilers

Now that the news about Phelan keeping Andy locked up in the cellar is out, let's have a look at what else lies ahead for Corrie's Pat Phelan.

Some of the following is pure speculation based on spoilers from the tabloids and some is taken from the official previews already released by ITV.

Next week on Corrie, the cops will come calling for Phelan, as you can see in the picture above. But what do they want?  Well, Phelan’s behaviour is going to turn even more bizarre.  Nicola’s concerned for her dad when she sees him walking around with a gash on his head. And intrigued by Phelan’s odd behaviour she follows him. Phelan makes out he’s working on a house conversion and is disposing of an old mattress. As Eileen and Nicola fuss over Phelan’s head injury, Nicola suggests he could donate the mattress to a homeless shelter. But later at home a stressed Phelan takes his anger out on Nicola who’s shocked by his outburst.

Also, we know that there have been paparazzi pictures taken showing Phelan in his car with Daniel Osbourne in his car too. Not much to report there, but the tabloids are having a field day saying that Phelan is out to kill Daniel.  I can't believe this one, but I do wonder what Daniel's involvement will be.

And of course, Phelan is going to find out that he's going to become a grand-dad when daughter Nicola tells him she's pregnant with Gary Windass' child.  Read more on that here.

  1. The item about Daniel is interesting. As far as I know, the only time Phelan and Daniel have had any dealings was when Ken was discovered in the hall. It was never explained why Phelan came in the back door unannounced. Perhaps there is some unfinished business there.

  2. Maybe Daniel is looking toward investigative reporting as a career!
