Katie McGlynn announces pregnancy news
Post blog note, tweet just in from Katie McGlynn reads:
So when @_LeeBennett steals your phone & the whole of the UK think your pregs 👶🏼🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
Katie McGlynn, who plays Sinead Tinker has announced that she is pregnant with her gay best friend’s baby
In a late night announcement on Thursday 6 July, Katie McGlynn wrote two tweets and an Instagram post to say that she is having a child with her best friend Lee Bennett.
From OK Magazine: She wrote: "Couldn't think of a better pers to bring a life into this world with other than my GBF @_LeeBennett 21st Century baba."
She then added: "So excited to share the news that me and @_LeeBennett are having a babrooon togeth #Gayby."
Lee retweeted Katie’s comments and appeared just as happy with the news writing: "It's been so hard keeping this a secret but I'm extremely happy to finally let you all know #BabyNews."
On Instagram, Katie shared a picture of a stork holding a baby and writing: "So happy & proud to announce that me and my GBF@_leebennett have decided to have a baby together. couldn't think of a better person to bring a baby into the world with than my best friend, such a lucky gal! #BabyNews #Baba."
I wonder how Sinead will be written out to cover Katie's maternity leave?

"21st century baba". Indeed.
ReplyDeleteJeanie (anon):
ReplyDeleteShe's perfectly positioned to leave, permanently--clearly is out of love with Chesney but doesn't want to hurt him, AND also doesn't want to be tempted back into a relationship with Daniel.
Used to like her when she first came in because her down to earth character was a nice contrast to cypher Katie (she of dazzling teeth and perfect hair fame). But would now be glad to see her go--for whatever reason, she has never really clicked in any of the story lines the producers have given her and many of them have dried up mid-stream, as though the writers themselves were as bored as she and we were--like the paralysis, the modelling, the bespoke antique beaded garment business, even the relationship with Daniel--none of them ever took off; and her other reinvention--the "comedy" sidekick to Auntie Beth--was painful.
I agree jeanie. Sinead had so much promise with
ReplyDeleteat first, but the scriptwriters have let her down. Hope she eventually finds a better rôle elsewhere.
She has since posted that her friend stole her phone and it was all a joke
