Coronation Street Spoiler: Loudmouth litter lout upsets Weatherfield

Next week on Coronation Street we’ll see Brian take on the role of litter enforcement for Weatherfield Council. Armed with a loudhailer, he’s going to start berating his neighbours for dropping litter – starting with Phelan who drops a sweet wrapper.

But then, Brian is going to have a go at Roy who has lost a receipt which ends up on the Street. As we know, it’s not like Roy to litter, but Brian has no respect for this and tells Roy he’s a litter lout. Worse is to come when he gives Roy a Fixed Penalty Notice.

As Brian and Cathy grow closer this week, it looks like Brian and Roy are going to end up falling out as Brian refuses to back down over Roy’s litter fine.

  1. Brian's pointless. He's not funny, he's a buffoon. He's played for laughs so one assumes the actors is having a great time. Shame the audience isn't.

As if. Just, as if! Why are they writing these ridiculous storylines for Brian? It beggars belief.

  3. Brian was more palatable the first time around, when he was mithering JOhn Stape and when he was with Julie. He's just plain boorish now.

  4. I agree with all of your comments. He is extremely irritating and not one bit funny. Time to get rid.

  5. I so agree with all the above, I have no idea why Cathy or any woman would be interested in such a horrible man.

  6. Apparently we all agree re Brian - he really has to go. When are we ever going to see Phelan go down. Between murder, fraud an general hatefulness, surely the writer's won't let him get away with it all???
