Summer is forced into making a decision next week in Coronation Street when Drew’s evil mum says she must choose who she wants to live with. Will it be Drew’s mum and dad, Summer’s grandparents – or will it be Billy and Todd? Ooh, my money’s on the latter, of course.
Billy and Todd pay Drew’s parents a visit and beg them to do what’s best for Summer but Geraldine makes homophobic and spiteful remarks. She’s furious when Angus reveals a legal document stating that Drew intended Billy to have guardianship of Summer.
Meanwhile, with Summer spending more time on Coronation Street, it’s suggested that as she’s about the same age as Amy Barlow, perhaps the two young ladies of the parish might enjoy hanging out together. Summer? Amy? Oh, this is going to be fun. These two do not look best pleased to be in each other’s company.
Elle Mulvaney, who plays Amy Barlow, has already hinted that her character Amy is going to have a run-in with someone on the Street. It does indeed look like it might be Summer. Read more on that here.
