With Rosie and Sophie reaching the dizzy career heights of window
washing, it's time to take a look back at some of the characters from
Corrie's past who have taken to window cleaning.
First off was Stanley Ogden.

And of course, the king of the chamois cloth, Jack Duckworth, who saw a lot through those bedroom windows he cleaned, especially Dulcie Froggatt's.
Then Tim announced to Sally that he was intending to get himself a career that would take him to some dizzy heights, it was clear there was only one way he could go. For a feckless fella on Coronation Street, there can only ever be one profession of choice - a Weatherfield window cleaner.

ReplyDeleteAw, I've got Geoffrey Hughes's autograph (Eddie Yeats)from years ago when some of the cast did a personal appearance in our town :-) He was very funny in real life.
