The Sun today carry pictures and the Coronation Street spoiler showing Nick Tilsley caught in a freak accident as he gets stuck in quicksand during a seaside trip with Steve and Peter.
However things take a dramatic and potentially deadly twist when Nick goes for a walk and tries to jump from one sandbank to another when he falls between the two and gets stuck on quicksand.
Pictures show Nick struggling in the sand and crying for help, while Peter and Steve are walking nearby and taking pictures on their phones.
Could this be Nick's exit storyline? Actor Ben Price is leaving the show later this year, but I hope they don't kill him off!

I remember watching a top gear special where one of the boys got stuck in quicksand. Its hilarious to watch but not so fun to happen too.
ReplyDeleteIt would be a rather bizarre way to die, and horrible of course but I reckon he'll be saved by Peter and Steve in the end. What would Gail do without her golden boy? It would be like Ivy Tilsley losing Brian all over again. Hmm... wonder if Gail would end up in a nunnery, too?
ReplyDeleteWhy is Nick on a seaside trip with those two? Aren't they his mortal enemies?
ReplyDeleteSounds like a Scooby-Doo plot line to me...
ReplyDeletelooks like water to me...and yes...why would he be with those two of all people!
ReplyDeleteCan't see these three on a trip together! Maybe they have a car break down??
ReplyDeleteThe three of them have never been in the same place together before that I can remember.
ReplyDeleteIs Quicksand under water? Damn. I was just getting over Jaws.

ReplyDeleteI don't think they'll kill him off. More likely to bring him back in 5 years with a new head:)

ReplyDeleteI've heard of this happening when the tide goes out, people can get sucked into the mud and drown when the tide comes back in..not really quicksand. What would Nick and the other fathers of "his children" be doing on a trip out to the seaside? Family holiday.
Please, please don't tell me that Steve and Peter will become suspects in another death.
Would have been nice to see Nick develop a backbone and just walk away from the drama instead of being killed. We'll see how it plays out
I've never liked Nick, although I don't think this will be the end for him I couldn't have imagined a better one!
ReplyDeleteIf Nick's story ends in death, Leanne would be Steve's new girlfriend for romance, or would she be the new girlfriend of Weatherfield's newest male resident?
