Ken visited Adam and left him in no doubt that he never wanted to see his grandson again. He even packed a bag for Adam and gave him an envelope full of cash so that Adam could buy a one-way ticket to Canada and never darken Ken's door again.
On Friday night last week, when the blonde woman turned up at the flat looking for Adam, Daniel told her that Adam had gone to Canada on business.
But will he return, I wonder?
I do hope so. I've been enjoying the contrast between him and Daniel on Corrie, and it's been good having a bit of the old Mike Baldwin swagger back on the street.
Come back soon, Adam, I miss you ... even if no-one else at No. 1 does!.

I doubt we'll have seen the end of Adam yet. He hasn't actually left in a black taxi, after all, not that we've seen on screen anyway. He'll be hiding away licking his wounds and formulating a plan.
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't strike me as the kind of guy that would disappear without a fight. I don't think we've seen the last of him. I actually quite liked him. Think he was just misunderstood!

ReplyDeleteHe'll be back but I hope the actor and writers use this time off to rethink Adam. If he's meant to be a new Mike Baldwin, he needs to pull himself together and stop chasing every mad scheme to make a quick buck. Mike was a businessman not a common criminal.
ReplyDeleteI really hope that Adam returns. I too think that the ying and yang of Daniel and Adam works for both characters. In regard to Mike and not being a criminal? I don't think we know how he made his fortune do we? As for being strictly legal? He had no qualms about helping Deirdre jump bail and disappear when she was on her way to prison.

Drives poor Adam away at his most vulnerable, interferes with Daniel and Sinead, and soon to throw a wrench in Peter's life with his tattling to Toyah. So with Tracy...he made no friends with what she overheard him say about Deirdre.....
Yup, they are going to kill Ken off. Don't they always set people up like this....think Sunita, Tina, etc. Just you watch...Ken will be history within the next 6 months.
By the way...I like the comment about the Mike Baldwin swagger. Right on! lol Who doesn't like a bad boy on a soap. I love his accent too. :-)
