  1. Looking at the picture of Rana, Kate & Alya out together I get this awful dread that the "new love interest" for Kate will be Alya. In an interview she did let it slip that it wasn't a new actor joining the cast so maybe it is Alya. I sometimes get that awful feeling that this madness will never end.

  2. Obivously neither Sarah or Bethany have learned their lessons after Callum,it's bad enough that Sarah is encouraging her daughter to make those videos but but to let her do so after a girl goes missing and the police are investigating Nathan? Ridiculous!

  3. If by madness you mean the carousel of relationships on the Street, I could not agree more. But Alya having feelings for Kate doesn't seem that outrageous. Alya's inexperienced, she only slept that one time with Jason (and we know how that turned out), while her character is built around duplicity. I don't want to give bisexuality a bad name, but for some people it has to do with not being able to come down hard on one side or the other. Has Coronation Street ever had a proper bisexual character? Marcus wavered briefly, but he seemed pretty solidly gay. It might be interesting to draw out that part of Alya's psyche - where she has been caught between alliances - in a sexual sense. Another test as well to Yasmeen's loyalty to family vs. religion.

  4. After all the business with the fake flats, and various residents saying Phelan is bad news, why on earth would Ken of all people employ Phelan, and does he get any other quotes?

    1. Even before his stroke Ken was a bit above it all on things happening in the street. Who does he talk to that would gossip about Phelan and since no one in his family was going to buy a flat, that whole mess probably never caught his attention.

  5. I think it might be Rana and Kate, that is why she doesn't want a baby yet and seemed reluctant about getting married in the first place. These people really do rush into marriage.
