First-look pics: Peter Barlow to cheat on Toyah?

 
Here are some preview pics from the episode of Coronation Street to be aired on Wednesday 1 February 2017.


Stunned to find out Toyah has kept her IVF attempts a secret from him, Peter wonders what other lies she has told him and storms off to go on a taxi run.

When his glamorous customer Chloe invites him into the hotel for a drink Peter accepts - has he gone back to his old ways?


Chloe is played by actress Jo-Anne Knowles who has been in Coronation Street four times before. Corriepedia tells us that she played the roles of:
  1. An unnamed Nursing Sister at Weatherfield General when Tracy Barlow was admitted in March 1995
  2. TV reporter Gilly Saunders who interviewed Lily Dempsey about Mayfield Court in July 1996
  3. Housewife Mrs Hardy in June 1999
  4. DC Ann Short who was involved in the alleged disappearance of Linda Baldwin in the autumn of 2001

    I think it may be Chloe Cunningham - Ken's never seen before grandaughter. This would surely shake some things up if my speculation is correct!

      Ooh! I love that! The expansion of Clan Barlow may not be complete ... And you can see why they'd have kept it under wraps.

      Oh now that would be an AMAZING spoiler to keep hidden. I really like how Kate Oates has not told us everything before it happens. I love spoilers but sometimes a surprise is good. I'm still in shock about Andy!

    If it turns out to be Chloe Cunningham I will so happy about that as the Barlow family is current 5 Males to 2 Women so it would help even it up a little bit more and also Peters stock storyline of cheating and getting back on the booze is poor decision

    I think the "old ways" referred to are the womanising rather than the boozing. They've got coffee cups on the table.

    Ken Barlow's girlfriend we saw in episode 1 was Susan Cunningham. When she left no-one knew she was pregnant with Ken's child. She had a son, Lawrence, who later had two children himself, James and Chloe. James appeared in 2010 and was a bit of a conman, we've not yet seen Chloe.

    I sometimes get suspicious when people's speculation turns out to be uncannily accurate. Some insider knowledge perhaps?

      Some long term fans of the show, like Joseph, retain information like 'Ken has a hitherto unseen granddaughter called Chloe' and mention of Peter meeting someone of the same name sets alarm bells ringing. Im sure there's nothing sinister in it 😉

    I hope it's Chloe Cunnigham ( Kens) Grandaughter , Peter would be better with a sexy brown haired girl like Carla or Chloe , not Toyah Boring Battersby who he has zero chemistry with. Peter needs a fiesta woman as he is the deputy King of the Barlow clan. God Chris Gascgones an amazing actor.

    I hope Alison King comes back to Coronation Street soon and knocks down that Toyah , Chris Gascyone is brilliant as Peter and I would much rather see him as a father figure to Simon , than a man eater going for Tiny Toyah lol.

    Peter needs to let Leanne and Nick live there life and move on from Toyah , I think he would be good with Michelle as well if she wasn't with Steve. Peter and Chloe would certainly add the mix of drama and exciting storylines to tell. I hope it is Chloe Cunnigham and they reintroduce her and Lawrence , but not James as he was evil. I really miss Deirdre played by the lovely Anne Kirkbridge she is sorely missed by all Corrie viewers. x

    We all know Peter will cheat on Toyah but there's no way he'd do it now when it wouldn't cause trouble. What he runs from is commitment and he's still free.
