Daniel woos Sinead in Coronation Street

All it took last night was one look, one little look from Daniel as Sinead wobbled away from the kebab shop. And we knew. With that little look, we all knew that Daniel and Sinead would soon become Dannead. Or is it Sinaniel? Either way, they're going to get together.

As the preview picture above, from next week's Coronation Street shows, it looks like Daniel woos Sinead with an, er, Venus flytrap plant, as you do.

But will the plant do the trick and trap Sinead into Daniel's world, or wil she choose Chesney?

  1. So they have to put another couple in a miserable break-up drama? Can't anyone on the street be happy?

  2. Is Sinead going to end up being Deirdre to Daniel and Adam? I can see Adam making a play for her just to tick off Daniel.

  3. Chesney needs to leave. He's been unnecessary since Katy left with baby Jack/Joseph/Jiminy(??)

  4. So predictable! Saw this coming ages ago. Sinead will go with Daniel and Chesney will get with Gemma. It's almost like they have landing strip lights on their scripts.

  5. Maybe Chesney would date Gemma. I would pick Daniel anyday. I might love him already. Lol

  7. Unless Sinead has a personality transplant this would be a bad pairing. She's always seemed nice enough but rather dim witted to be with Daniel. I always thought she was even a bore for Chesney.

  8. I'm not unhappy about Sinead and Daniel. Let's face it, Chesney is beyond boring. He could totally leave the show and not be noticed. They morphed his once cute spunky character into a boring old man who barely casts a shadow on the street.

  9. @Rosieluv.....LOL I kind of love him too! And I would certainly pick him over Chesney.

  10. I can't see DAniel being any more exciting than Chesney. He's just taller and smarter. And as far as Sinead being "rather dim witted" to be with daniel, you might remember that almost every woman Ken Barlow ever persued was not (in his assessment) his intellectual equal. He preferred it that way. I do'nt think Daniel would be so condescending about a girlfriend, not in this day and age but let's not forget he very likely has Mother issues and definitely abandonment issues.

    1. That's true about Ken but it might occur to Daniel that it's why his father's life never ran smoothly. You might think you're the greatest thing since sliced bread but those non-bookish girls come to think you're a bit of a bore and start checking out less "complicated" and more amusing guys such as Mike Baldwin.
If he's worried about being abandoned finding someone with similar interests and habits would be a safer bet.It could be they'll reveal that all this time Sinead has just been hiding her light under a bushel since there was no one to appreciate it but with Corrie writers being uninterested in having anyone able to do more than settle for work at the factory, I don't see that happening.

  11. Sinead was so cute and quirky when she first appeared; never knew what she saw in dreary old Chesney, who is 20-something going on 56. Daniel might have enough of a studenty bohemian streak to appreciate her. When Gemma came to the cobbles there was some hint of her and Chesney making sparks; even though I despise Chesney on principle, that pairing might have possibilities.
