Terrified, Aidan explains to a shocked Johnny that he’s now an accessory to murder as he hid the scissors in the bin. The police arrest Maria on suspicion of murder as Aidan and Kirk watch, horrified. Aidan worries as it looks like the walls are closing in on Maria, how is she going to get out of this one?

Michael confronts Phelan alone, telling him he won’t stand by and watch him make a fool out of Eileen. Rattled Phelan later shoves his Mexico ticket in his rucksack but when Eileen picks up his bag from the sofa, Phelan snaps, leaving Eileen’s suspicions piqued, is she on to something?
GARY RAGES AT DAVID. Gary’s furious to realise Anna is scarred for life and David is to blame. Gary storms into the salon and rails at David, telling him Anna can barely walk because of him. Sarah tries to defend David but Gary sees red and punches him, sending him flying. Who will Sarah side with?

Sarah - what a big-mouthed little tramp! And Gary! leave David alone, no-one is scared of you.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, let me see, who will Sarah side with? It's a no-brainer, she'll side with whomever she's set her cap at, certainly not her brother. Silly little mare.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the preview Flaming Nora.
ReplyDeleteAiden never looks all that sharp but I can't figure out why he didn't just rinse those scissors off and toss them somewhere amongst the hundreds of other scissors there are at factory that sews clothes. At this point this story doesn't just have holes, it's one big yawning gap.
Though I blame David for letting grief drive him to cause the accident that injured Anna, I think his biggest lapse in judgment is his continued tolerance of having Sarah anywhere around him and knowing his business. If a man so much as winks at her, she sells out David on the spot. Of course it won't occur to Gary that if Sarah knows what David did, it was in her power to stop it from happening by calling the police so her brother could be put under watch in a psychiatric ward until he came to his senses about his plan.
Sarah wanted to go to the police straight after Callum's death. This storyline has always been wobbly and mainly saved by the acting. The person who is mostly to blame - if you want to take this storyline seriously! - is Gail. She refuses to let her children grow up and take responsibility for their actions. I really think Martin needs to make an appearance to sort them all out.
ReplyDeleteOf course Sarah wanted to go straight to the police after Callum's death, Kylie is the one who would gotten in trouble if the explanation as to why she killed him wasn't believed, not Sarah.Even if the authorities did believe Kylie had no choice but to kill Callum, his mother would do her level best to take Max away from Kylie and David.
DeleteAnd,anyways, why was Callum always lurking about in the first place? Why was Sarah able to phone him and have him come over the night he was killed? Because Sarah had ignored Gail, Kylie and David's warnings about him and made him her boyfriend.
I agree that Gail did a poor job of raising her kids but I don't see how Martin would have done better;the thing I most remember about the character was that while his kids were teenagers, he dated a girl who was a teenager herself.
Let's see... Gary told David he didn't blame him for the accident and they're both trying to get on with their lives. Now, for some unfathomable reason, Sarah just HAS to tell Gary the truth. Sarah's one brain cell thinks Gary will actually appreciate this? "Oh yes! I'll tell Gary his mother's scarred and in agony because my half brother did it on purpose! THAT will make Gary love me even MORE!" Thanks for the heads up. A move this idiotic just makes me not want to watch.
ReplyDelete"The police arrest Maria on suspicion of murder..." Who was murdered? You mean Caz? The woman who was kicked out of the military for going AWOL (or AWL)? Which by definition is someone who goes missing ON PURPOSE!? Wow - how dumb are these TV cops supposed to be?
ReplyDeleteGood point!
DeleteThe police on this show have been shown to be dangerously incompetent again and again, fingering and going after one person while letting the guilty roam free and do whatever they want.
ReplyDeleteHow is Caz's plan supposed to work again? As soon as someone sees her, it's all over. I won't be surprised if we don't see her character for like a month until the police fish her stabbed corpse out of the canal. It'll turn out someone she stalked and whose life she ruined in the past was out for revenge, killed her with something that will of course be very similar to the scissors Caz planted, and everyone will turn against Maria except Aidan.
What? I know this storyline is a bit far fetched, but that's just ridiculous. You've been watching too many bad crime thrillers
DeleteBeats me how she's already managed to get into Maria's flat and Sally's side-passage, which would involve walking either the length of the street or going right by the Salon window, in broad daylight, and back again, without anyone ever seeing her! This, on the street where, if there's someone you really don't want to run into, you can bet as soon as you open your front door, they will emerge from theirs!
DeleteIt's plain to see that the Caz story line is filler since Marc Anwar was sacked. I do not see the point of it all. What precisely is Caz's purpose in relentlessly tormenting Maria? After all this time it's still not clear to me what Caz's goal is. Let's see the end of this story line fast!
ReplyDeleteOh, and any relationship between Luke and Tracy is ludicrous at best. More filler that makes no sense at all.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the song in corrination street when everyone was in the pub?
ReplyDeleteI think I know why Sarah had to tell Gary the truth despite David wasn't in his right mind at the time is because she's no longer the center of attention and probably wants David out of the house so she can move Gary in!Of course Sarah will be probably standing there with an 'innocent'look on her face thinking she can manipulate Gary as she did with Todd to keep quiet!Sarah is not capable of caring about anyone but herself.
ReplyDeleteAs for Gary,I see he hasn't learned to control his fists after his mother slept with Phelan to keep him from being arreated for assaulting him!
