Sam Robertson returns to Coronation Street as Adam Barlow

Sam Robertson is returning to Coronation Street to reprise his role as Adam Barlow.

Adam is the son of Ken Barlow’s late daughter Susan and Mike Baldwin. He has been living in Canada since he left Weatherfield in 2007.

ITV reports that we'll first see Peter Barlow, return to the street in October.

But as his return sends shockwaves through the Barlow household, the family will be further shaken when Daniel and Adam join Ken, Tracy, Amy and Peter at No. 1 in November.

Sam said:  “I’m delighted to be back, Coronation Street was my first job as an actor and is a special place for me. As a young actor it was a little overwhelming so I’m looking forward to coming back and stamping my mark on the character, I feel there’s unfinished business with Adam.”

See who else is leaving, joining or taking a break from the show.

  1. Couldn't be happier to have him back, good actor, great continuity having the same actor back... And a bit of eye candy on screen! 👍🏻

  2. Glad to have Adam back, look forward to a "new" Daniel but I must say where on earth are they going to sleep in that tiny little house! It's already full with Ken, Amy and Tracy!

  3. I'm super glad the same actor is coming back. But I do hope they remember how ill Adam was for months over in Canada. By rights, he and Ken should also be extremely close after all that time together.

Funny how he is 7 years younger than his uncle.
