Revenge award: David certainly wiped the smug off Lauren's face, didn't he? Now he's contacting Macca via social media under a false name. (Cormac Hibbs? Wonder how long it took them to come up with that name!)
Green Eyed Monster: Sean tried to scupper the posh hotel night that Todd set up for he and Billy.
Hypocrite award: Nick giving Steve a hard time for sleeping with Leanne when he did the same with Kylie on a drunken one nighter. And where does he get off insisting Steve leave town? And all the things Nick said about Steve, you could just as easily say about him. Rat. Devious. Manipulative. Selfish.
Twisted Sister: Lauren tried to turn it all around on Bethany when her mother already knew her daughter was a bully months ago and wasn't surprised then.
Did they or Didn't they? When Todd and Billy made up and made out, or so at least it looked like they were about to go up them stairs. Yet when Todd turned up, bags in hand, he remarked that he thought they could take things to that next level.
Cheapskate award: Does Norris really peg his teabags out to dry? I wouldn't put it past him.
Mixed messages award: Maria invited Luke to the salon awards do. No wonder he got the wrong idea.
Lines of the week:
Leanne to Nick "I don't deserve you" (no, you deserve better)
Sally "I can't believe I've let a rat into my house" Tim "You married Kev..."
Steve "Haven't you done something stupid?" Nick "We're not talking about me" (I've got one word for you, Nick. Kylie. And that was worse because it was your brother's wife)
Beth to Sally "If you want to be a cougar, find yourself another victim because you're not getting your claws into my son!" (oh, as if!)
Nick to Steve "You are a lying, devious, selfish cheat" (takes one to know one)
Tim to Craig "You see the good in people no matter how well it's hidden"
Sean "I'm turning 40 on Monday and living with a man who pegs his teabags out to dry" (when you put it that way...)
David "I wanna stay angry so leave my stuff alone" (It's not about moving on, luv, it's about finding a new normal)
David "We give our clients everything they want. No, what we do is give them everything they deserve" (and he's back!)

maybe I have it wrong, but wasn't Nick having an affair with Leanne while she was engaged to Peter? So not only did he have a one nighter with Kylie, he also was doing the nasty with Leanne the first time around and he was the one that begged her not to go to Liverpool when they were already set on the bus. So he has no reason to act the injured party. Heck, if I was Leanne I would pack my bags pronto and get back on that bus.
ReplyDeleteSean is 40? They really need to either give this character a proper storyline that's far from his John Inman persona, make him grow up or let him go. He's vain, shallow and immature. No wonder Billy walked. That keeps happening because his character never evolves and hasn't since he first arrived. I used to find him amusing and entertaining, now he's tiring and tedious unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteThat's right, Anon, Nick did have an affair with Leanne. (Why?! I'm no big fan of Peter but he's way more attractive than Nick.) Even worse, he got Peter drinking again, a terrible and amoral thing to do to a recovering alcoholic.
ReplyDeleteNick has brain damage..or he had..or it crops up whenever convenient.
ReplyDeleteNick coerced Leanne into an affair while married to Peter....to further entice her towards him he got Peter (an alcoholic) back on the booze ....this was before the brain damage....this is Nick DNA. Yes Gail does have a golden boy there doesn't she! lol
ReplyDeleteNow you mention it, yes, what about Nick's comeuppance?
