Coronation Street film new Corrie car crash

The Manchester Evening News have paparazzi pictures on their website showing a new Coronation Street car crash being filmed this week.

It looks as if David, takes out his frustrations and anger after Kylie's death. He nicks Nick's car and takes it for a joyride which goes out of control.

The scenes were filmed in a car park at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium.

Have a look at the pictures here.

  1. Well, better get the usual Corrie hospital room ready with the gang of family members gathered round looking frantic and Gail with her sappy face and wringing hands at the fore front. I thought there was going to be some new and brilliant writing coming up. WTH?

  2. Another car crash?
    Talk about a over-used storyline.

  4. In before he hits someone, which will start the "War on David" story-line for what has to be the millionth time now. Bonus points if it's Nick.

  5. I do agree with everyone's comments but wonder at the same time if
David's frustration has to do with Nick possibly taking Marion's side in the pending custody battle over Max?
I am getting tired of the Platts and their drama taking over storylines.

  6. Yawn. Without much thought at all I could think of four crashes/accidents just in the last few years. Carla ran over Stella, and Cathy, Nick and David, minibus crash ...... Then it wasn't that long ago Sophie got run over. These people get paid to write this stuff!
