Why does Sally always "instruct" Tim? She doesn't ask him. Not liking Cllr Metcalfe very much atm, bring back the old Sally
ReplyDeleteI know I haven't been watching since they buried another character under a concrete floor, but Billy and Todd??? And if someone would be so kind, what happened to Simon? I haven't seen any mention of him. Shipped of to live with Peter?
ReplyDeleteErr, I take it you didn't watch last night's episodes? Simon came back from Portsmouth with Leanne
ReplyDeleteMarion should be talking to Kylie and David about access to Max,not Sarah,he's not her son.
ReplyDeleteI hope Michelle and Steve are split up for good this time.
Sadly it seems the same old same old with Alex.causing trouble again.
I wondered since when is he friends with Gemma? They never interacted before.
Sean and Billy never seemed well suited, being gay seems to be the only thing they have in common. Billy and Todd could be interesting; both are intelligent, have secrets, maybe we'll find out what went wrong in London. Michelle and Steve, meh, she's a shrew and he's a man-child, their relationship is more parent and child.
ReplyDeleteI really like the idea of Todd and Billy together - fifty shades of good and evil, a lot of story line potential there. Sean is a wet blanket of one-dimensional drama queen. He should be paired off with another drama queen and they could both commiserate and try to out-drama each other!
ReplyDeleteSteve should be a single parent - it might develop him into something other than a man-child. If his mother isn't hen-pecking him them his woman is. Really pathetic.
The best partner for Billy would have been Marcus but too uneventful for a soap. Agree that Billy and Todd would make a more interesting storyline. The problem is Sean who, like Tracy, hasn't developed at all, both stuck in their adolescence.
ReplyDeleteAll the child characters who are now getting on for 40 eg: Nick, Steve, Tracy, have the same relationship with their parents as they did twenty years ago. It might be true to life but it's boring to watch it play out in several households. One way to move these adult kids on is to switch the dynamics of the relationship. The parent perhaps develops a health condition and needs their child's support. The Barlow's would be a good place to start.
Humpty, caring for a sick parent is a great and realistic idea. Tracy, pulled thin with a business and a daughter and a sick parent wouldn't have time to dwell on revenge. Or at least, shouldn't. Nick has his choice of Audrey or Gail and is the only Platt sibling without little ones at home. They'd prob pair him with Leanne and dump it on her, tho, the way Peter dumped Simon.
