Sally and Tim shortlisted for Best On-Screen Partnership award

Sally Dynevor and Joe Duttine, who play Sally and Tim Metcalfe in Coronation Street, have been shortlisted in the category of Best On-Screen Partnership in the British Soap Awards .

This is a category that isn't available on the British Soap Awards website for fans to vote on.  It's a panel decision and the results will be announced on the night.

  3. I agree! It's a shame that the joy seems to have been written out of their relationship just now. It's heading the way of George and Mildred: a henpecked husband scenario, which is no fun to watch sadly. Although, they are very good actors, and make the best of it (have a bit of a crush on Joe Duttine!).
    Maybe Steve and Tim should have been nominated instead :D

  4. Yes, I think Steve and Tim could be better than Steve and Lloyd.

    We've had some hilarious scenes with Tim and Sally - I loved her dismissal of his caveman act - but she's now turning into a bully. Tim supports her in important things, so I hope he starts to stand up to her when she's being ridiculous.

    Talking of ridiculous, can we please put an end to the Sally-Jasmeen feud?
