First-look pic: Sarah tells Todd about Callum's dead body

Here's a preview picture from ITV for the Coronation Street episode to be shown on Friday 3 June.

Todd implores Sarah to confide in him and is baffled when Sarah lets slip that she saw Callum’s dead body.

Todd humours Sarah and promises to keep her confidence and asks who killed him.

Todd’s eyes widen in shock as Sarah whispers her reply in his ear.

  1. confirms the theory that Tony will be the one blamed for the murder. Todd will plant something in Tony's apartment, or do something to implicate him--maybe something related to the car torching they did-- and so get both Sarah and Jason off the hook.

  2. I don't think Todd will set up Tony but instead believe the reason Sarah told Todd is to ensure he goes to the police and implicate Kylie and David in Callum's murder.
Remembering how Sarah used Kylie's phone to text Callum and lure him to the house,I think Sarah will manipulate Todd to do her dirty work and destroy David's life as she set out to do when she returned.

  3. It was all self defense. He would have killed Sarah had Kylie not hit him with a wrench to stop him. They should have called the police at the time. Realising this is soapland and it wouldn't have made much of a story this way. Can anyone remember their reasoning as to why they didn't call the police?

    1. I reviewed the episode of the day Callum was hit, unless I missed something else, it was sheer panic. Sarah wanted to call the police but between Kylie and David, Sarah was talked out of it. Shock combined with panic often results in bad irrational quick decisions.

  4. I found this from an interview with Jack P Shepherd last year:

Question: Why was he so against going to the police and pleading Kylie’s self defence in the first place?

Jack: In hindsight, maybe they should have, but Sarah and Kylie had already moved the body and Kylie did kill him. Even if they had pleaded self defence, there’s a chance that Kylie would still have gone down and David can’t risk that

  5. It would be great if Todd found a way to blame Phelan! I can't see how, but it would be great! ;-)
