Actor Matthew Marsden, who played Chris, has been writing some fun tweets in response to the tabloid rumours that old characters might be returning to the show. They're tweets which Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally Metcalfe (nee Webster) has been retweeting. Fun stuff, nothing in it.
@sallydynevor Wondering what would happen if Chris turned up again after all these years. ;)— matthew marsden (@matthewdmarsden) April 3, 2016
But could there be? I wonder! Perhaps we could see the return of an old flame of Sally's to upset the apple cart. What do you reckon?

And when he comes back, he will have morphed into the owner of a chain of restaurants with his eye on the bistro. Grief, it could happen.

ReplyDeleteI liked Chris at the time but now no.
ReplyDeleteSally already made a pass at her ex Kevin just before she was about to marry Tim so I don't want to see her cause trouble with another ex, especially since we're now seeing Michelle tempted by her ex, Will.I don't want to see Tim suddenly being portrayed as a jerk as Steve is now to justify an affair,
Oh, I would love to see him back on the show... Not for Sally but just because. He could be a temporary person that could date Maria ;).
ReplyDeleteNo chance.
ReplyDeleteBah, this seems like someone's making a mountain out of a molehill and timed it right with a new producer's entrance.
ReplyDeleteI doubt there's anything in it.
Are you kidding me? How could anyone forget a hunk like him? Yes please, bring him back, but NOT for Sally!
