Claire talks about playing Erica on Coronation Street as well as her past parts in soap and other TV. She said that when she was in her 40s the TV work dried up and she actually thought about giving acting up. That was, until the part of Erica in Corrie turned up.
She talks about the level of fame and recognition she now has and that sadly it's led to her having a stalker. She says it's not the first time it's happened and this one has been going on for a few months. She had a few stalkers when she was in Emmerdale too and the the police can't do anything because the stalker hasn't committed a crime. "We've got great security," she says about ITV Studios.
