Happy 84th birthday to Coronation Street's Rita

 
Today, February 25th 2016 is the 84th birthday of Rita Tanner (née Littlewood, previously Fairclough and Sullivan.

Corriepedia list her birthday as February 25th 1932 which means Rita turns 84 this year.

Rita Littlewood first turned up in Coronation Street as a nightclub singer in 1964.  She returned in 1972.

Rita remains my all-time favourite Coronation Street character. Long may she reign and queen it over Norris in the Kabin.
