At least it's Mary's storyline. She's a much underutilized character.

ReplyDeleteLet's hope this is the end of the storyline and we now learn more about Mary's background. She has hinted heavily before that she knows nothing of love, although she appears to have travelled the world. What's her story?

ReplyDeleteWhat is with the writers and their sleazy mean-spirited storylines lately?!First it was the Connor children with their bet on whether or not Aidan will sleep with Eva and now poor Mary who does deserve a better storyline gets humiliated by Brendan!

Perhaps Norris will ask Mary to move in with him now that Emily has left they would make a great team and Dev can finally fo all foe the twins.

Mary is a very unhappy person who still has the voice of a somewhat abusive mother in her head. Low self-esteem. Prime candidate for married lover and second rate one at that. Because Mary had been so nasty to the folly of others I don't really like her. But I still think the writers should care much better for these characters than this type of trash storyline.
ReplyDeleteJulie and Brian. Remember that storyline? The two meet...soulmates...quirky but well suited. Then we find out Brian is married. Later he does return and they get it together....Yawn if they do this with Mary and Brian. This was a stupid story if you ask me...it showed the writers disrespect for the character of Mary. The actress deserves more. We the viewers deserve more.
