Who are your top 3 current favourite Corrie characters?

Who are your top three favourite Coronation Street characters, right now, at this moment? Having posed this question, I was forced to think of my own favourites and realised they could change from episode to episode. Such is the fickle world of soap - and me! 

But if you had to choose, who would you say were your absolute top three favourites at the current time? The way I'm helping myself come to my top three decision is by imaging how gutted I'd feel if I read that they were being axed from or leaving the show.

And so, here are my current top three favourite characters, the ones that light up the screen for me.

    Even though he's now gone, I'll still say Lloyd, Steve and Carla.

    Without them, Corrie will have a lot less appeal for me.

    Currently : Emily (on the rare occasions she appears, she still steals every scene), Eva (wonderful classic Corrie character - bitchy and vulnerable in equal measures), and... Steph.

    Ever: Annie Walker, Elsie Tanner and of course Hilda Ogden (closely followed by Minnie Caldwell and Albert Tatlock).

    Steve McDonald and Craig, but mostly the delightful Kirkeh. I'd like to see something happen to Kirk that stretches Andrew Whyment's dramatic abilities. There is more treasure in that actor.
